Survey Engineer

In this role as a Survey Operations Assistant, you will be supporting senior surveyors in conducting various surveys, such as land, topographic, and construction surveys. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assisting in survey operations to ensure accurate data collection for project planning and execution. - Marking, measuring, and recording site-specific data points using advanced surveying instruments. - Interpreting survey plans and drawings to align with client and project requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing equipment and maintenance: - Preparing, setting up, and calibrating surveying equipment before fieldwork. - Performing regular checks and troubleshooting on tools to maintain operational readiness. - Organizing and safeguarding tools and equipment during transport and at job sites. When it comes to data collection and reporting, your tasks will involve: - Documenting and logging survey data accurately for analysis and reporting. - Reporting task completion, site progress, and challenges to senior surveyors. - Addressing any inconsistencies or issues identified during surveys promptly.
