Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager in the Residential Sales Flooring department at Welspun World, your primary role will be to drive sales growth in the residential flooring sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, leading a nationwide sales team, establishing relationships with key customers, negotiating agreements, and monitoring performance metrics. Additionally, you will need to stay updated on market trends, collaborate with other departments, and ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the residential flooring sector. - Lead the nationwide sales team to achieve sales targets. - Establish professional relationships with key customer accounts. - Negotiate and close agreements with large customers. - Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements. - Prepare sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. - Stay informed about new product launches and ensure the sales team is knowledgeable. - Use customer feedback to generate ideas for new products or features. - Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to understand market trends. - Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and boost sales. - Ensure compliance with sales, finance, and legal policies and procedures. - Foster an open communication environment within the team. - Utilize SAP and other IT applications for process streamlining and efficiency improvement. - Demonstrate strong business acumen, entrepreneurship, and a global mindset. - Focus on people management, interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, negotiation, communication, networking, persuasion, and customer relationship management. Qualifications Required: - 7 years of experience in a similar role. - Proficiency in Business & Commercial acumen, Entrepreneurship, Global Mind-set, People Excellence, Negotiation Skills, SAP/IT Related applications, Market & Competitive Intelligence, and Analytical Skills. - Basic knowledge in Technical Knowhow- Process & Product, Strategic thinking, and Domestic Trade Know-How.
