Job Description

Role Overview: Metso, a frontrunner in sustainable technologies for the aggregates, minerals processing, and metals refining industries, is seeking a Screening Area - Support Manager to facilitate screening-related activities and interactions between the Screening Business line and sales/support teams in India. As the Screening Area - Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing technical and some commercial support for Screening products, guiding product development, and offering market price guidance in the Greater India Market Area. Key Responsibilities: - Review RFQs from MA Sales teams, initiate the quotation process, and collaborate with various teams to determine equipment selection and specifications. - Identify and propose the best product/package for client applications, considering factors such as suitability and value for money. - Act as the interface between SCB Proposals team and MA sales team during customer communications in the bidding stage. - Collaborate with SCB Delivery teams to provide optimal solutions to customer needs. - Maintain open communication with MA sales teams and customers regarding work progress and inquiries. - Review cost calculations for equipment solutions to ensure alignment with project requirements. - Assist in finalizing quotation documentation, including necessary attachments and approvals. - Develop and deliver presentations to major clients and provide technical support for regional sales teams. - Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate compliance with project requirements. - Support spare parts planning and sales strategies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Mining, or equivalent. - Minimum 10 years of experience in Engineering, Sales & Proposals Management, preferably in Aggregates, Mining, or Mineral Processing. - Experience with Vibrating equipment and familiarity with SalesForce and SAP preferred. - Strong negotiation skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and verbal. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. - Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. - Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
