Support Manager, Screening

As a Screening Area - Support Manager at Metso, you will play a crucial role in facilitating all screening-related activities and interactions between the Screening Business line and the sales and support teams in India. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support for Screening products, guide the Screening Business line on regionally required product ranges, and offer market price guidance. You will collaborate closely with the Greater India Market Area Sales teams and account managers, including Capital Sales teams, Site Account Managers, and Global Key Account Managers. By receiving and reviewing RFQs, initiating the quotation process, and establishing equipment selection and specifications, you will be instrumental in driving the bidding process forward. Additionally, you will act as the interface between the SCB Proposals team and the MA sales team, ensuring effective communication with customers during the bidding stage. Your role will involve working with various teams across the organization, including SCB delivery teams, proposals team, project managers, and regional engineering teams. By maintaining open communication, reviewing cost calculations, and ensuring the accuracy of final quotation documentation, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects. Moreover, you will be responsible for developing and delivering presentations to major clients, maintaining document libraries, and providing technical support for the Screens business. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Mining, or equivalent, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering, Sales & Proposals Management, or Product Support roles. Proficiency in interpreting data accurately, experience with vibrating equipment, and knowledge of mineral processing and associated equipment are essential. Strong negotiation skills, organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills will be key to your success in this position.
