Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee the end-to-end supply chain strategy, covering procurement, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and logistics.
• Monitor and manage stock levels across central warehouses and retail stores to ensure optimum availability and minimise stock outs/overstocking.
• Build and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement and delivery.
• Drive process improvements in forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning using data-driven insights.
• Implement strong controls for inventory accuracy, timely replenishment, and effective SKU management across categories.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards across the supply chain function.
• Lead cost optimisation initiatives without compromising service levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Retail Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Sales) to align supply chain goals with business needs.
• Develop and track key supply chain KPIs to monitor efficiency, identify gaps, and implement corrective measures.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the supply chain & logistics team, fostering a culture of ownership and performance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field (MBA/PG in Supply Chain preferred).

• Experience:

  8-12 years of proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in retail, FMCG, or consumer goods sectors.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, distribution, and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience with ERP, inventory management systems, and MS Excel.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
