Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager with 48 years of experience in hospital or healthcare supply chain operations, your role will be crucial in ensuring the timely and cost-effective availability of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain activities, managing procurement, coordinating with various departments for demand forecasting, maintaining optimum inventory levels, and liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. Additionally, you will be required to monitor inventory using ERP systems, ensure regulatory and compliance standards, collaborate with finance and audit teams, analyze supply chain performance metrics, and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the end-to-end supply chain activities for hospital operations. - Manage procurement of medical equipment, surgical supplies, drugs, and consumables. - Coordinate with departments such as pharmacy, OT, ICU, and emergency for demand forecasting. - Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking. - Liaise with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. - Monitor and control inventory using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). - Ensure regulatory and compliance standards related to hospital supplies and procurement. - Collaborate with finance and audit teams for purchase order and invoice reconciliation. - Analyze supply chain performance metrics and generate reports for management. - Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost and enhance efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or certification (e.g., CSCP, CIPS) is a plus. - 48 years of experience in hospital or healthcare supply chain operations. - Strong knowledge of medical supplies, hospital procurement practices, and vendor management. - Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
