Supply Chain Manager

As a Supply Chain Manager at our company located in Charkop, Kandivali West, you will play a crucial role in Business Development and Back Office Sales. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination and communication with various departments such as Purchase, Production, Quality, and Packing. Your primary objective will be to provide planning and production priority to each department to prevent bottlenecks and ensure timely delivery of assigned orders. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably a BE Mechanical Graduate/Post Graduate, and an MBA or any other Masters degree will be considered an advantage. It is essential to have experience working with mechanical components, particularly with a strong knowledge of brass fittings and the ability to interpret drawings accurately. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, must be strong to effectively liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for creating Purchase Orders (PO), Sales forecasts, Material Requirement Planning (MRP) using software such as ERP, and maintaining project trackers. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Plant head, design, production, and packing teams for new part development. As a proactive and organized individual, you will continuously monitor orders, respond to customer queries within 24 hours, and ensure timely delivery of materials to customers. Regular follow-ups with the logistic team will be necessary to guarantee safe and timely delivery to customers" hands. You will also attend customer meetings via Google Meet and obtain necessary approvals for freight shipments. In case of any deviations from production targets or quality standards, you will be expected to report, analyze the causes, suggest corrective and preventive actions, and seek approvals from the reporting manager before implementation. Your role will require you to be highly productive, take ownership of projects, and complete tasks assigned by Top Management promptly. This is a full-time role with a day shift schedule, and the work location will be in person.
