Job Title: Product Compliance & Testing Engineer Location: Mumbai, India Salary: ₹70,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Industry: Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Components Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Product Compliance & Testing Engineer to join our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing and certifying products in accordance with global standards such as UL, CSA, IEC, SGS, and related agencies. This role involves close coordination with external laboratories, managing test protocols, and ensuring timely certification for various product lines. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate product testing and compliance certification with agencies like UL, CSA, IEC, SGS, etc. Review technical specifications and prepare documentation required for submission. Interface with certification bodies, labs, and internal product development teams. Oversee sample preparation, testing schedules, and corrective actions based on test outcomes. Ensure products meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements across key markets. Maintain detailed reports, technical files, and documentation per compliance standards. Assist in root-cause analysis and improvements in product design or materials as required for compliance. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in product testing or compliance in the electrical or industrial sector. Familiarity with UL, CSA, IEC, BIS, and other international and domestic certification processes. Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, compliance frameworks, and quality control. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred: Prior experience coordinating directly with UL or CSA certification teams.
