Supply Chain Engineering Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Engineer Naps Trainee to join our team at FLSmidth Cement. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in logistics, procurement, and process engineering, supporting the manufacturing and delivery of world-class cement manufacturing equipment. This role provides an excellent platform to learn and grow within a global engineering company.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the logistics team in planning, tracking, and coordinating shipments of equipment and spare parts.
• Assist in purchase order processing, vendor follow-ups, and supplier coordination to ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Contribute to process engineering projects by analyzing workflows and suggesting improvements for cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to supply chain operations (shipping documents, purchase records, vendor reports).
• Work with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) for order management and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, and vendors).
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in professional English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Equivalent/EEE/ECE).
• Strong interest in supply chain, logistics, and process engineering.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
