Supply Chain Director

As the Director of SCM Warehousing Operations and Logistics at AVASO Technology, you will play a key role in leading and optimizing global warehousing, distribution, and logistics functions. With your strategic mindset and extensive experience in supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, and procurement, you will drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic plans for warehousing and distribution, optimizing warehouse layouts and processes, ensuring effective inventory control, and leading warehouse expansion initiatives. You will also oversee global transportation strategies, manage relationships with logistics service providers, and enhance tracking systems for improved visibility of shipments. Collaborating closely with the procurement team, you will align logistics and warehousing with sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts with service providers, and ensure supplier compliance with company policies and quality standards. Additionally, you will develop long-term supply chain strategies, leverage technology and data analytics for efficiency, and lead process automation initiatives. As a leader, you will mentor and develop a high-performing warehousing and logistics team, collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain operations with business objectives, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership. Your strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills will be essential in driving cost reduction initiatives and securing the best value for AVASO Technologies. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred), along with 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, warehousing, and logistics. Proficiency in ERP systems, WMS, TMS, and supply chain analytics, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills, are also required.
