Supply Chain Director

As the Director of SCM Warehousing Operations and Logistics at AVASO Technology, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing global warehousing, distribution, and logistics functions to ensure operational efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance with industry standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement strategic warehousing and distribution plans to support global operations. - Optimize warehouse layouts, automation, and processes for improved efficiency and cost reduction. - Ensure effective inventory control measures to prevent stock discrepancies and obsolescence. - Lead warehouse expansion and consolidation initiatives based on business growth and demand. - Drive best practices in warehouse safety, compliance, and operational excellence. - Oversee global transportation strategies, including freight optimization, carrier selection, and cost management. - Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, optimizing shipping routes and reducing lead times. - Develop and manage relationships with logistics service providers and freight forwarders. - Implement and enhance tracking systems for improved visibility of shipments. - Address logistics bottlenecks and drive process improvements. - Work closely with the procurement team to align logistics and warehousing with sourcing strategies. - Negotiate contracts with logistics and warehouse service providers to achieve cost savings and efficiency. - Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with vendors to improve inbound and outbound logistics performance. - Develop long-term supply chain strategies to support business growth and market expansion. - Leverage technology and data analytics to drive supply chain efficiencies and cost reductions. - Lead process automation and digitization initiatives in warehousing and logistics. - Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, warehousing, and logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of global procurement processes and supplier management. - Expertise in warehouse automation, inventory control, and logistics optimization. - Experience managing large-scale distribution networks and multi-country logistics operations. - Proficiency in ERP systems, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and supply chain analytics. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills. - Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
