Supply Chain Analyst

The Analyst in Supply Chain Management (IMG Region) within the Material Planning & Logistics department at Ford India plays a crucial role in managing the supply chain from various regions to manufacturing plants by coordinating with suppliers, carriers, Export Distribution Centers (EDCs), and internal departments like purchasing, transport, PPM, PVT, STA, etc. Your responsibilities will include generating and analyzing critical part lists, arranging airfreight of critical parts, ensuring effective supplier/part resourcing, highlighting potential production risks, communicating issues on common parts, coordinating contingency plans, addressing long-term supplier problems, assisting customer plants, analyzing inventory management, monitoring carrier efficiencies, improving supplier delivery performance, generating MIS reports, supporting customer plants in claims, and participating in Innovation / TVM activities. The ideal candidate should have a BE degree, preferably with an MBA, along with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in material flow, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, or procurement. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, knowledge in corporate MRP systems, good analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office are required. Additionally, familiarity with Alteryx, Power BI/QlikSense/GCP would be advantageous.
