Job Description

Core Responsibilities 1. Production Planning & Execution o Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate them to the team. o Assign responsibilities, prepare shift schedules, and manage workflow to ensure seamless operations. o Oversee manufacturing and dispatching processes, ensuring adherence to quality and timeline commitments. 2. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement o Detect inefficiencies, identify root causes of non-conformances (NCs) and customer complaints, and implement countermeasures. o Foster a culture of continuous improvement through lean manufacturing techniques and 5S principles on the shop floor. o Encourage employees to contribute improvement ideas and create a high-performance work culture. 3. Equipment Maintenance & Safety Compliance o Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular preventive maintenance to prevent downtime. o Train new employees on safe machine operations and workplace procedures. o Enforce strict adherence to company safety guidelines and industry compliance standards. 4. Quality Control & Reporting o Conduct verification checks on production output to ensure adherence to specifications. o Inspect products before dispatch to verify accurate labelling and record-keeping. 5. Workforce Management & Supervision o Guide, train, and coach employees while monitoring their productivity and adherence to standard operating procedures. o Carries out periodical appraisal of their performance o Conduct shift briefings using visual management tools to align teams on quality, cost, and delivery expectations. o Prepare leave schedules to maintain adequate manpower without affecting production targets.
