Supervisor - Warehouse Operations

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing inbound logistics and receiving operations in the warehouse. Your role will involve managing the receiving, inspection, and put-away of inventory to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the receiving, unloading, and inspection of incoming shipments. - Verify shipment accuracy by reconciling received goods with purchase orders (POs) and invoices. - Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to manage delivery schedules and minimize delays. - Ensure proper labelling, documentation, and quality checks of inbound materials before storage. - Oversee stock put-away processes, ensuring materials are stored efficiently. - Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and regular audits. - Implement FIFO and LIFO methods for proper stock rotation. - Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse associates and receiving clerks. - Analyze inbound logistics data to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies in incoming shipments. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). - 3 to 7 years of experience in inbound logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management. - Strong knowledge of WMS and ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, or similar software. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
