Supervisor - Warehouse Operations

As a Warehouse - Inbound Operations Supervisor at APM Terminals, your role is crucial in overseeing and optimizing inbound logistics and receiving operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising inbound operations & inventory receiving, managing warehouse & inventory, leading a team, optimizing processes, ensuring compliance & safety standards, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the receiving, unloading, and inspection of incoming shipments. - Verify shipment accuracy by reconciling received goods with purchase orders (POs) and invoices. - Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to manage delivery schedules. - Oversee stock put-away processes and maintain inventory accuracy through audits. - Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse associates and receiving clerks. - Analyse inbound logistics data to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities. - Ensure all incoming shipments comply with regulatory and company policies. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). - 3 to 7 years of experience in inbound logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management. - Strong knowledge of WMS and ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: - Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. - Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
