Superspecialist Consultants (Cardiologist) (Nephrologist)

About The Opportunity

• Provide senior consultant‑level outpatient and inpatient care for cardiac and renal patients—diagnosis, treatment plans and follow‑up.
• Manage acute cardiac and renal emergencies in ICU/CCU settings, including coordinating mechanical circulatory support and renal replacement therapies.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and interventional procedures as applicable: echocardiography, ECG/Holter interpretation, renal biopsy, dialysis initiation and CRRT management.
• Lead multidisciplinary case reviews and coordinate care with nephrology, cardiology, critical care, radiology and surgical teams for complex patients.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior doctors, residents and dialysis staff; ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient‑safety standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support departmental audits and guideline development.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

• DM/DrNB/MD/DNB in Cardiology or Nephrology (or equivalent superspecialty qualification) with valid medical registration.
• Proven clinical experience managing acute cardiac and renal conditions in tertiary care settings, including ICU exposure.
• Hands‑on competency in echocardiography and ECG interpretation; experience with dialysis modalities (hemodialysis and CRRT).
• Experience performing renal biopsy and managing vascular access for dialysis.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Familiarity with hospital EMR/HIS systems, clinical documentation and protocol-driven care pathways.
  

Preferred

• Dual exposure or cross‑training in both Cardiology and Nephrology (consultant experience across both specialties).
• Experience with coronary angiography/PCI or access to perform interventional cardiology procedures.
• Prior experience in teaching, clinical research, or transplant nephrology programs.
