About the Role

Student Visa Counselor

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Conversion

• Call prospective students from various lead databases to generate walk-ins.
• Make outbound calls to warm/hot leads to provide visa information and sign-ups.
• Convert telephonic queries into walk-in appointments.
• Follow up on leads collected by the marketing team to achieve country-specific targets.

Student Counseling

• Identify student skills, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable overseas study options.
• Provide accurate advice on courses, universities/colleges, and programs.
• Counsel students on SOP/LOR/Resume preparation.
• Educate students and parents on current immigration laws, visa policies, and career outcomes.
• Assist students with the complete application process until visa approval.

Reporting & Data Management

• Maintain weekly/monthly reports on student conversion and target achievement.
• Keep records of registered students, visa status, and progress.

Business Development & Marketing Support

• Participate in business development and promotional activities.
• Attend university training sessions and workshops.
• Support other branches during events or training as required.

Team Support & Administration

• Hire and coach new counselors to improve team performance.
• Handle website updates, online chats, and publish news, testimonials, and visa updates.
• Follow up for client reviews on Facebook, Google, and the company website.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience:

  1–3 years in student visa counseling (UK/Canada mandatory).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
• Knowledge of immigration & visa procedures for UK and Canada.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic website management.
