Role Overview We are seeking a Student Success Coach who is passionate about empowering students to achieve their academic and career goals. This role is instrumental in ensuring program completion, retention, and holistic student success through continuous engagement, self-discovery coaching, and strategic guidance. As a Student Success Coach , you will act as the primary touchpoint for students, guiding them through their learning journey, helping them navigate challenges, and providing the necessary tools to unlock their full potential. Key Responsibilities โ
Academic Support & Accountability โ Nudge and motivate students to complete weekly module assignments on time. โ Track student progress and intervene when delays occur by helping them replan schedules. โ Identify students at risk of falling behind and provide personalized action plans. โ Guide students on their course selection for each semester โ
Student Success Coaching & Personal Development โ Guide students in self-awareness exercises to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. โ Conduct personalized success coaching sessions to help students set academic goals, develop effective study strategies, and overcome challenges. โ Facilitate career goal-setting sessions and create action plans to align academic progress with career aspirations. โ Serve as a motivator , mentor offering guidance, advice, and encouragement to help students navigate academic and personal challenges such as time management, self-discipline โ
Human Skills Facilitation โ Guide students in developing essential human skills such as communication, enhancing Productivity, and problem-solving. โ Facilitate live Q&A sessions, discussions on interactive platforms, and grading assignments. โ
Collaboration & Support โ Work closely with instructors, academic teams, and career services to align student goals with learning outcomes. โ Act as a trusted advisor for students, addressing concerns related to coursework, personal development, and career planning. Required Skills & Qualifications ๐ฏ Bachelorโs degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field . ๐ฏ 2-5 years in career coaching, career counselling preferably from edtech roles. ๐ฏ Strong interpersonal, motivational, and problem-solving skills. ๐ฏ Familiarity with coaching methodologies , human skills training, and student retention and engagement strategies. ๐ฏ Strong ability to motivate, encourage, and guide students towards their goals. ๐ฏExcellent verbal and written communication skills to engage students effectively.
