Job Title: Student Intern – Talent Outreach and Coaching Coordination. Summary MDSF is seeking a passionate and motivated Student Intern to support our mission of empowering underprivileged students from rural and economically challenged backgrounds. In this role, you will help identify high-potential students and connect them with coaching centers that can support their academic journey—particularly for competitive exams and career advancement. Success in this role means effectively bridging the gap between talented youth and the resources they need to thrive. This role plays a key part in advancing MDSF’s vision of inclusive education and equitable opportunity. Responsibilities Identify and engage with students from rural and financially disadvantaged communities who show academic promise Build relationships with local schools, NGOs, and community leaders to source student profiles and referrals Connect with coaching centers and educational organizations to facilitate training opportunities Maintain and update a student database, tracking progress and engagement Assist in organizing awareness campaigns, community events, and information sessions about available opportunities Provide regular reports and updates to the MDSF team on outreach activities and student progress Represent MDSF with professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to educational equity Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college/university program (any discipline) Passionate about social impact, education, and community development Strong communication and interpersonal skills—especially in local languages and/or rural contexts Ability to work independently and travel locally if needed Comfortable using basic digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email, messaging apps) Prior volunteer or fieldwork experience is a plus Empathy, cultural awareness, and a commitment to inclusivity are essential Show more Show less
