Role Description This is a full-time role for a Structural Design Engineer located in Chennai. The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for various projects, preparing detailed drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD tools, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role will also involve collaboration with other engineers and architects to develop innovative and efficient design solutions. Key Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis and design for RCC and steel structures using STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or similar tools Prepare detailed calculation reports and ensure compliance with IS codes and relevant standards Review and approve structural drawings and detailing Coordinate with architects, clients, contractors, and other consultants to ensure timely project execution Participate in site inspections, resolve structural issues, and provide technical guidance during construction Support junior engineers and interns in design tasks and quality checks Contribute to internal design process improvements and documentation standards Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.E. / M.Tech in Structural Engineering. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in structural design . Proficient in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD; Revit and BIM knowledge is an advantage Strong knowledge of IS codes.
