Website: www.pangulftech.com About the role: BIM MEP Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems & Plumbing systems to ensure energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities: Modelling of HVAC systems & Plumbing systems for Commercial, Industrial,Infrastructure buildings. Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and schedules for mechanical & Plumbing systems based on project specifications. Select appropriate HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handling units, pumps, and ductwork etc..- Develop ductwork and piping layouts using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM. Generate shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built models in accordance with project standards. Design and sizing of ducting and piping. Maintain and implement BIM standards, templates, and workflows for MEP projects. Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and collaboration platforms such as BIM 360 / ACC. Knowledge of Level of Development (LOD 300–500) Knowledge of Dynamo, Navis Clash Detection, and Revit Family Creation. Utilize software like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navis Works, HAP, for design and Modelling. Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams. Candidate requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Minimum of 3-6 years' experience in BIM MEP Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 (or similar platforms).
