Job Description

1) Job Purpose:

  • Plan and implement Sales strategy for the B&C Projects Stream consistent with overall aims of the organization
  • To meet budgeted EBITDA, Sales and Revenue, Capacity utilization of all 4 Extrusions plants; especially Silvassa
  • Penetrate new markets and customers in B&C Projects business; identify and nurture long term customers & influencers
  • Strengthen customer relationships top & medium Fabricators
Development of new products, value-additions and strengthen Hindalco brand in this segment

Prepare long term strategic plan for the Stream
  • Prepare detailed assessment of key demand drivers by customer / products
  • Develop detailed long-term sales plan, forecasting growth and profitability
  • Assessment of capacity and design considerations as part of the Plan
  • Align with Global Sales, Operations Heads for capacity assigned to Stream
Define annual Plan for Stream by TM in line with P&B
  • Cascade the annual P&B by customer and assign to specific Team members
  • Validate and test the Plan with market intelligence and customer visits
  • Monitor Market share, SoB / SoW of key customers as per plan.
Achieve target EBITDA and Collections, FG inventory
  • Understand cost structures, margins for the product across plants and SKUs.
  • Prepare appropriate pricing / mix strategies by understanding local competition, Metal price movements, willingness-to-pay
  • Negotiate pricing strategies with large key customers.
  • Monitor EBITDA margins by regular visits / interactions with Plant teams
  • Monitor credit policy, DSO, OD; anticipate financial concerns of customers
  • Monitor overall FG levels and control of inventory ageing
Develop Subject Mater Expertise in the Stream
  • Understand the complete value chain for customers.
  • Understand and support new product development / value added applications
  • Monitor global trends in relevant technologies and customer industries
Enhance Customer Satisfaction
  • Plan and monitor NPS action plans for Stream
  • Ensure implementation of NPS actions plans, changes as per customer
  • Ensure customer complaints are resolved in time by Tech Rep, Quality teams
  • Anticipate supply chain issues in advance and address ahead of time
Key Account Management
  • Prioritize Key accounts and prepare detailed KAM plan for the category.
  • Ensure detailed implementation of the KAM plan and monitor progress.
  • Understand customers preparedness, willingness for long term partnership .
New Customer development
  • Create a strategy to acquire new customers.
  • Implementation of new customer development strategies.
Development of People
  • Provide mentorship to team with timely and relevant constructive feedback
  • Propose development agenda for team members; basis gap assessment, aspiration
