Strategy Analyst

As a Startup Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for owning key parts of client engagements. This includes scoping discovery, conducting interviews, analyzing competitors, and translating findings into strategic choices that guide founders towards confident decisions. Your contributions will be crucial in developing proposals, case work, and founder-facing narratives that influence how startups make their next big move. **Responsibilities:** - Investigate new problem spaces through customer discovery, expert conversations, and secondary research. - Analyze competitive landscapes to surface whitespace and positioning opportunities. - Synthesize findings into insight memos, briefs, and strategic options. - Contribute to proposals, scopes, and case notes in support of pre-sales and delivery. - Partner with the Startup Financial Analyst to align qualitative insights with financial implications. - Capture learnings from projects and repurpose them into case snapshots and thought pieces. - Present your work directly to founders and iterate quickly based on feedback. **Requirements:** - Have 1-3 years of experience in startups, consulting, or incubators (portfolio of work > pedigree). - Enjoy digging into both primary and desk research. - Are skilled at turning inputs into clear storylines and strategic recommendations. - Write tightly, think visually, and communicate with precision. - Value working in a non-corporate, high-agency environment where outcomes matter more than titles. - Good to have: Notion/Slides fluency; light BI or SQL; exposure to India's early-stage ecosystem.
