Job Description

Role Overview: As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Fleet Management India Pvt Ltd, you will be a vital part of supporting sourcing and category teams by providing valuable insights, reports, and analysis. Your role will contribute to informed decision-making and enhance the efficiency of the global procurement function. Reporting to the GM of Strategic Sourcing, you will have the opportunity to develop your sourcing and project management skills while working closely with Category Leads to implement category strategies and plans. Key Responsibilities: - Support the GM of Strategic Sourcing in optimizing the global procurement function. - Ensure adherence to best market practices and utilization of internal capabilities within the Fleet procurement department. - Assist category teams in project delivery and contribute to the development of category strategies. - Manage new and renewal contracts, focusing on compliance and effective contract management. - Engage in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities to strengthen partnerships and drive performance. - Provide detailed reports and statistics on suppliers and categories for informed decision-making. - Conduct supplier market analysis and organize market intelligence for spend comparisons. - Develop bidding, negotiation, and pricing strategies while adhering to budgets, policies, and ethical standards. - Maintain procurement policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance across all activities. - Contribute to the development of a supplier management program with key category suppliers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost reductions, improve quality, and enhance delivery performance. - Represent the company in negotiations and contract reviews with existing and prospective suppliers. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide valuable insights and reports. - Excellent project management abilities to support category teams effectively. - Knowledge of supplier relationship management practices and market analysis. - Effective communication and negotiation skills for engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Familiarity with procurement policies, guidelines, and compliance standards. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive performance improvement initiatives.
