Strategic Sourcing Specialist

As an experienced Procurement Manager at BEUMER Group, your role will involve: - Identifying good, cost-effective, and quality-oriented suppliers to support global customers and supply chain - Looking into future prospects of business segments in India and the Asia Pacific region - Coordinating with Cluster Asia and global procurement team for process alignment, pricing, and regional developments - Conducting cost breakup of engineering products, validating prices, and ensuring best market prices - Exploring alternate sourcing options for single source suppliers - Strengthening commercial terms with suppliers and managing risks during contract finalization for larger projects - Utilizing spent analytics to benchmark and continuously improve procurement function - Consolidating vendors for low-spent suppliers and developing special focus plans for strategic suppliers - Implementing new tools such as Reverse Auctioning, supplier ratings, transporters MIS, and other online tools to enhance procurement department efficiency Qualifications required for this role: - B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - 8 to 12 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management - Strong skills in cost engineering and contract negotiation - Experience in global supply chain coordination and digital tools At BEUMER Group, we offer a wide range of attractive assignments, exciting projects with Global MNCs, exposure to niche skills and learning opportunities, and a talented, passionate, and collaborative team of industry experts.
