Job Summary:

Strategic Sourcing – Electrica

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electrical components and systems
• Lead RFQs, supplier evaluations, selection, and commercial negotiations
• Manage and develop Tier 1 and Tier 2 electrical suppliers
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through VA/VE, should-costing, and benchmarking
• Support new product development activities including APQP, PPAP, and SOP readiness
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program teams
• Support sourcing requirements for EV platforms and new electrical technologies
• Ensure supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, delivery, and innovation

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical commodities (wiring harness, connectors, ECUs, switches, etc.)
• Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
• Understanding of automotive/EV sourcing processes and quality systems
• Cost analysis, should-costing, and value engineering expertise
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics preferred) or related field.
• Experience in EV or automotive manufacturing environment
• Exposure to new technology sourcing and localization projects
