Job Title: Stores Manager / Hospital Supply Chain Manager

Department: Stores & Procurement / Materials Management

Reports To: Senior General Manager

Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of hospital supplies, from procurement to distribution, ensuring optimal stock levels, quality control, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance to support uninterrupted patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of all medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and consumables; implement FIFO/FEFO systems; conduct regular stock audits.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Coordinate purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Liaise with clinical departments (OT, Wards, Labs) to understand needs, prevent stockouts, and streamline supply flow.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards of accuracy.
• Financial Control: Monitor budgets, track expenses, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives within the stores department.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to hospital policies, quality standards, and healthcare regulations (e.g., drug storage, expiry management).
• Reporting: Generate reports on stock levels, consumption, procurement, and operational efficiency for management.
