Stores Executive

Job Summary

The Stores Executive is responsible for managing receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper material handling, and smooth coordination with production, purchase, and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials, packing materials, and consumables as per approved purchase orders
• Verify quantity, quality, and documentation at the time of receipt
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials as per company standards
• Issue materials to production against authorized requisitions
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP and manual registers
• Conduct regular stock checks and support physical inventory audits
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise indent requirements in time
• Coordinate with Purchase for shortages, excess, or slow-moving inventory
• Handle inward and outward movement of finished goods
• Ensure compliance with FIFO / FEFO methods wherever applicable
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the stores area
• Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports
• Support internal and external audits related to inventory and stores operations.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of stores and inventory management in a manufacturing environment
• Hands on experience in working in ERP systems and MS Excel
• Basic understanding of material codes, batch control, and documentation
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
