Key Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage issue and receipt processes for assigned material categories to ensure timely availability as per plant requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the inventory management team to maintain optimal inventory levels for the respective category.
• Monitor and drive the liquidation of surplus and obsolete materials.
• Support the site stores lead in executing material optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster strong inter-departmental coordination with a focus on customer orientation and operational efficiency.
• Strictly adhere to HSEF (Health, Safety, Environment & Fire) and statutory compliance guidelines.
• Demonstrate familiarity with petrochemical/refinery equipment, standard maintenance practices, and reliability systems.
• Apply knowledge of quality standards related to Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) materials.
• Handle and manage a wide range of equipment spares, bulk materials, and consumables.
• Ensure safe storage and compliance with safety protocols for hazardous materials and chemicals.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)

Key Skills Required –

Stores Engineer preferably from Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbons / Chemical / Fertilizers industries

• Strong knowledge of Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) materials, especially in rotary/static equipment.
• Familiarity with oil & gas plant equipment, piping materials, instrumentation items, and electrical components.
• Understanding of petrochemical/refinery equipment and standard maintenance practices.
• Exposure to equipment spares, bulk materials, construction consumables, and chemicals.
• Proficient in inventory control, stock verification, and managing minimum/maximum stock levels.
• Knowledge of material codification, classification, and cataloguing.
• Hands-on experience in receipts, issuance, reconciliation, and storage of hazardous materials as per safety norms.
• Experience in liquidation of surplus/obsolete inventory and dead stock analysis.
