Established in 2009, Revata Engineering is a well-recognized manufacturer and supplier of equipment for the Oil & Gas industry. The company’s head office and manufacturing facility is in M.I.D.C., Bhosari, Pune.

Role Description:

Stores and Logistics Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stores Management:

• Manage all

  inward and outward material

  movements with accurate documentation and traceability.
• Ensure

  inventory is updated

  and maintained in the system in real-time.
• Monitor and maintain

  stock levels of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables

  ; raise purchase requests well in advance to avoid stock-outs.
• Supervise proper

  labelling, storage, and stacking

  of materials in designated areas with clear identification.
• Ensure

  storage conditions

  are as per material safety requirements, especially for sensitive items.

• Track expiry dates

  of materials and ensure timely usage or disposal as per protocol.
• Maintain records of

  material receipts, stock issues, adjustments, and returns

  .

2. Documentation and Vendor Coordination:

• Ensure completeness of

  GRN (Goods Receipt Note), invoices, test certificates

  , and other supporting documents for each inward consignment.

• Follow-up with vendors

  to collect missing documents or clarify any discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized archive of all

  traceability documents

  related to raw materials and shipments.

3. Logistics Operations:

• Supervise and ensure

  proper packing

  of all outgoing consignments as per customer or shipping guidelines.
• Prepare and process

  shipment documentation

  (e.g. shipping bills, airway bills, invoices, packing lists) using platforms such as

  DHL, FedEx, or others

  .

• Track all incoming and outgoing shipments

  and coordinate to ensure timely delivery and receipt.
• Communicate proactively with freight providers, couriers, and customers for smooth logistics operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in

  stores and logistics supervision

  , preferably in a manufacturing setup.
• Familiarity with

  inventory management systems

  and basic knowledge of

  ERP software

  is an advantage.
• Strong

  organizational skills

  , attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency in using

  courier service portals

  like DHL, FedEx, etc. for documentation and tracking.
• Good communication and coordination skills for interacting with vendors, transporters, and internal departments.
