Job Description – Retail Supervisors (Plastic & Home Needs, Furniture, Home Appliances, Optical)

Position: Retail Supervisor/Floor Supervisor

Location: Chennai, Porur Super Saravana Store

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned category ensuring smooth functioning of sales floor.
• Supervise and guide sales associates to achieve category-specific sales targets.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer service protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Monitor customer feedback and resolve escalations promptly.
• Coordinate with store management for promotions, discounts, and seasonal campaigns.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales, staff performance, and category growth.

Requirements

• Graduate degree/diploma preferred; retail management certification is a plus.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience in retail (category-specific experience desirable).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage teams, multitask, and deliver under pressure.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and basic MS Office tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
