Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end operations of the site store materials.
Receive, inspect, and account for materials such as cement, pipes, tanks, fittings, and construction hardware.
Maintain accurate stock registers (manual or digital) and daily material issue records.
Ensure proper storage, stacking, and preservation of construction materials.
Coordinate with site engineers and contractors for timely issue and receipt of materials.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports and submit to project management.
Ensure compliance with material handling SOPs and safety guidelines.
Liaise with procurement, logistics, and HO teams for material planning and indenting.
Manage inward and outward documentation.

Key Skills and Experience

Minimum 2-3 years
of experience in construction/infrastructure project store operations.
Prior experience in Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM)
or similar government water supply projects is
a must
.
Hands-on knowledge of construction materials: cement, sand, aggregates, pipes, valves, tanks, etc.
Strong understanding of site logistics, material reconciliation, and consumption tracking.
Familiar with documentation and store management software/tools (ERP/Tally/MS Excel).
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
