Store Manager (Garment Industry)

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using ERP or inventory management software.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Inventory management systems based on industry needs.

Store Operations:

• Supervise receiving, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
• Ensure all inward and outward materials are documented and compliant with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain proper labeling, and stacking of inventory.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams for seamless material flow.

Team Management:

• Lead and train store assistants and warehouse staff.
• Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure discipline and safety within the team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to SOPs.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate documentation for all transactions including GRNs, MRNs, issue slips, dispatch notes, etc.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements, statutory norms, and company policies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.

Safety & Housekeeping:

• Ensure store premises are clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow safety norms related to material handling equipment, fire safety, and hazardous material storage.
• Conduct periodic checks on material storage conditions and warehouse infrastructure.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (ERP/SAP/Tally, etc.)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Team leadership and people management
• Basic knowledge of quality standards and safety regulations
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
