Store Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our supermarket. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of retail management experience, a deep understanding of supermarket operations, and a proven track record in team leadership, customer service, inventory control, and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete operations of the supermarket, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and product availability.

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of department heads, supervisors, and store staff to achieve sales targets and operational goals.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales. • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper inventory control to minimize wastage and stock-outs.

• Maintain strong visual merchandising and product display standards.

• Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations are followed.

• Manage store budgets, control expenses, and report financial performance to senior management.

• Recruit, train, and develop staff while managing work schedules and performance reviews.

• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.

• Analyse sales reports, customer trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a store management role, preferably in the supermarket or retail grocery industry.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage a large team in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, and merchandising.

• Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
