Qualification: 12th Pass and above
Experience: 3 4 years of relevant retail management experience

Role Overview

The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and operations of a home furnishing showroom. This role requires a strong balance of sales leadership, operational control, and customer experience management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to home d cor retail, the ability to lead teams effectively, and the confidence to take full ownership of showroom performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end daily operations of the home furnishing showroom
Drive sales across home d cor and furnishing categories including curtains, blinds, rugs, carpets, upholstery, wallpapers, mattresses, cushions, and allied products
Lead, train, and supervise the showroom sales team to achieve sales targets and service standards
Ensure a superior customer experience through effective engagement, consultation, and relationship building
Oversee inventory management, stock planning, replenishment, and vendor coordination
Handle billing operations, cash management, and basic store-level financial controls
Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, product presentation, and showroom hygiene
Resolve customer complaints, queries, and after-sales issues in a timely and professional manner
Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and share insights with management

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of home furnishing and interior d cor products
Proven leadership and people management capabilities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills
Sound understanding of retail operations and store administration
Target-oriented with a proactive and result-driven mindset
Presentable, energetic, and professional in approach
Strong problem-solving ability with a positive attitude

Candidate Profile

Minimum 3 4 years of experience in home furnishing or d cor retail
Experience in managing medium to large retail showrooms is preferred
Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of store operations
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
