Job Description

Job Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining inventory for the gaming centre, including gaming equipment, food & beverage supplies, consumables, uniforms, and other operational materials. The role ensures that all stock is accurately recorded, stored securely, and issued as per company guidelines to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock (gaming equipment, accessories, F&B supplies, uniforms, cleaning materials, etc.).
  • Maintain updated and accurate inventory records in the system.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.

2. Stock Issuance & Control

  • Issue stock to different departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed to prevent shortages.
  • Ensure that all issued stock is documented and signed for.

3. Storage & Organization

  • Organize inventory in a clean, safe, and easily accessible manner.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices, especially for consumables.
  • Ensure storage areas are compliant with safety and hygiene standards.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with the purchase department for restocking requirements.
  • Communicate with operations, F&B, and gaming teams for inventory needs.
  • Liaise with vendors for deliveries and quality checks.

5. Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
  • Highlight discrepancies, damages, or losses to management immediately.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a storekeeper/inventory controller (preferably in gaming, entertainment, retail, or hospitality industry).
  • Basic knowledge of stock management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Physical ability to handle stock movement.
