Description
Role Overview: As a Store Incharge at Newtrace, a climate-tech startup specializing in crafting next-gen electrolyzers for the adoption of green hydrogen, your role will involve overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the store/warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a variety of goods, including raw materials, components, and finished products. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities will play a vital role in the success of the warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations. - Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders for replenishment as required. - Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage and loss. - Oversee the receipt of incoming materials, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders. - Coordinate dispatch of finished products to customers, ensuring timely delivery. - Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation. - Organize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization. - Implement and maintain warehouse safety and security protocols. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. - Utilize inventory management software for tracking and generating reports. - Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations. - Continuously improve warehouse processes for increased efficiency and accuracy. - Collaborate with procurement, product, and manufacturing departments for seamless operations. - Communicate effectively with suppliers, transporters, and other stakeholders. - Resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, shipping delays, or supplier concerns. Qualification Required: Must Have: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Proven track record of managing inventory. Should Have: - Strong organizational and multitasking skills. - Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP, Oracle, and MS Office. - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of safety and security protocols in a warehouse setting.
