Job Description (JD) for a Store Assistant at Sintron Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Job Description – Store Assistant Company: Sintron Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Location: Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai Position: Store Assistant Department: Stores / Inventory Reporting To: Store In-charge / Production Manager Job Purpose: To manage the day-to-day activities of the stores, including receiving, recording, issuing, and maintaining materials and components required for production and service operations at Sintron. Key Responsibilities 1.Material Handling & Storage Receive and inspect all incoming materials, components, and accessories. Properly label, store, and organize materials for easy retrieval. Ensure safe handling of sensitive electronic components. 2.Issuing Materials Issue materials to production, service, and other departments against approved indents. Record all transactions properly and maintain traceability. 3.Documentation & Records Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Issue slips, and stock registers. Support audits by providing accurate stock reports. 4.Coordination Work closely with the Purchase and Production teams. Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately to the Store In-charge. Qualifications & SkillsMinimum: Graduate / Diploma (Any discipline). Knowledge of storekeeping, stock control, and inventory systems. Basic computer skills (MS Office / ERP). Good organizational and communication skills. Experience in electronics / manufacturing industry preferred. Work ConditionsFull-time, based at Sintron Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.
