Job Description

Job Title: Store Accountant
Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand
Gender: Male
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years
Software Skills: Excel, Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintain and update day-to-day store accounting records accurately.
Handle stock entries, GRN, purchase invoices, sales invoices, and delivery challans.
Reconcile physical stock with system stock periodically.
Prepare and manage inventory reports, stock registers, and daily transaction summaries.
Manage vendor invoices, payment entries, and coordinate with the accounts department.
Ensure proper documentation of inward/outward materials.
Generate reports using Excel—VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Data Validation, and other functions.
Record all entries in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime, including purchase, sales, contra, journal, and stock adjustments.
Coordinate with the storekeeper, procurement team, and management for smooth operations.
Assist in monthly/quarterly audits related to stock and accounting.
Ensure compliance with company accounting standards and policies.

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Store Accountant or in inventory accounting.
Strong knowledge of Excel and hands-on experience in Tally ERP 9/Tally Prime.
Understanding of inventory management and basic accounting principles.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Attention to detail and strong numerical ability.
