Role Overview:

experienced NetApp L3 Storage Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot

    NetApp ONTAP storage systems (FAS/ AFF)

    across

    primary DC and DR sites

    .
  • Configure and manage

    volumes, LUNs, SVMs, SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapLock

    , and

    deduplication/compression features

    .
  • Handle

    storage provisioning, tiering, and performance optimization

    for low-latency trading applications.
  • Participate in

    storage capacity planning, DR drills, and failover testing

    for high-availability environments.
  • Collaborate with

    server, network, and application teams

    for seamless integration and performance tuning.
  • Implement

    backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies

    in compliance with

    SEBI/BFSI standards

    .
  • Maintain

    documentation, runbooks, and RCA reports

    for audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Support

    storage upgrades, firmware updates, and patching

    in scheduled maintenance windows.

Technical Requirements:

  • 8+ years

    hands-on experience with

    NetApp storage systems (ONTAP/FAS/AFF)

    in

    enterprise DC environments

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    NAS & SAN storage protocols

    (NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, FC).
  • Experience with

    SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapLock, MetroCluster

    , and

    high-availability configurations

    .
  • Familiarity with

    backup/restore, replication, DR strategies

    , and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to

    financial trading/BFSI networks

    or

    regulated low-latency DC environments

    .
  • ITIL-based

    incident, change, and problem management experience

    .

Preferred Certifications:

  • NetApp NCDA / NCIE / NCSIE

  • ITIL Foundation
