Job Title: Stock Management Trainer (For Students)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Stock Management Trainer to teach students the fundamentals of inventory control, warehouse operations, and supply chain management. The trainer will design and deliver engaging lessons that help students understand how stock is tracked, managed, and optimized in various business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on stock and inventory management for students.
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, and practical exercises to teach key stock management principles.
- Teach essential topics such as:
- Basics of Stock and Inventory
- Types of Inventory (Raw Materials, Work-in-Progress, Finished Goods)
- Stock Control Systems (Manual and Automated)
- Purchase, Storage, and Distribution Processes
- Inventory Valuation Methods (FIFO, LIFO, Weighted Average)
- Demand Forecasting and Reordering
- Use of ERP and Inventory Management Software (like Tally, Zoho, SAP, or Excel).
- Conduct hands-on sessions or simulations to give students practical experience.
- Assess student performance through tests, projects, and assignments.
- Provide real-world examples from retail, manufacturing, and logistics industries.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in supply chain and stock management technologies.
- Mentor students in preparing for internships or entry-level roles in inventory and warehouse management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, supply chain operations, and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with stock management software and Excel-based reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner for students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor in inventory or business management.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Inventory, etc.).
- Understanding of warehouse management, logistics, and demand planning.
- Certification or training in Supply Chain Management or Inventory Control (preferred).
