Job Description

Job Summary:

The Steward is responsible for providing courteous and efficient service to guests in the restaurant. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring smooth table operations, and assisting in delivering a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist guests courteously, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Set up tables, linen, cutlery, and glassware as per restaurant standards.
Take and serve orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Clear and reset tables quickly between courses and after guest departure.
Maintain cleanliness of service areas and ensure all equipment is well-kept.
Assist in buffet setups, refilling, and maintaining presentation standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for smooth order flow.
Follow hygiene, grooming, and safety standards at all times.
Support supervisors and captains in daily restaurant operations.

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Steward / Waiter (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pleasant personality with a guest-first attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
