The Challenge:

As a Staff Software Engineer, this person will play a key role in developing and enhancing our digital products across web, mobile, and streaming platforms. You will work with modern cloud-based technologies while contributing to our transition to native development. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications for web, mobile, and streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver robust and innovative solutions.
• Contribute to the transition from .NET Framework and Java to native development using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
• Implement features that enhance active and passive personalization within our content delivery systems.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through testing and best coding practices.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and adherence to engineering standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including developing and maintaining production-level applications.
• Experience developing applications for Connected TV (Apple TV, Roku, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across global teams.

Proficiency in one or more of the following is a MUST:

• .NET Framework (C#), Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Native mobile development (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android).
• Cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in AI-driven content personalization.
• Knowledge of video streaming protocols and media delivery frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience in media, broadcasting, or content delivery industries.
