Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Deliver direct nursing care to patients based on their individual needs and treatment plans. Monitor and document patients’ health conditions and progress. Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist patients with daily activities, such as mobility, hygiene, and nutrition. Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments. Record vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate. Recognize and respond to any changes in patient conditions, escalating issues as necessary. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide emotional support and information to patients and their families. Educate patients on post-treatment care and medication regimens. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies. Participate in ward rounds, team meetings, and case discussions. Infection Control & Safety: Follow hygiene and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment. Handle medical equipment and supplies properly to prevent errors or contamination. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary. Show more Show less
