Staff Accountant

As an Accountant at our company, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, reporting, and compliance. Your role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting bank reconciliations, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, you will collaborate with auditors for annual audits and provide financial insights to management for decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries. - Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. - Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. - Prepare and file tax returns (GST, VAT, corporate tax, etc.) in compliance with regulations. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. - Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. - Collaborate with auditors for annual audits and financial reviews. - Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus. - Proven experience in accounting or finance roles. - Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, etc.). - Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax laws. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you are preferred to have a few years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role. Industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail, IT, etc., would be a bonus. The salary for this position is negotiable and as per industry standards.
