The Staff Accountant I / II is responsible for supporting accounting operations for US-based clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end processes while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop).
• Record and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and intercompany activity.
• Maintain accounts payable in QuickBooks, including Bill.com integration and reconciliation.
• Post routine journal entries accurately.
• Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month/year end closes.
• Prepare compiled non-disclosure financial statements.
• Execute basic Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and fundamental accounting principles (debits/credits).
• Partner with client teams and internal staff to deliver accurate and timely reporting

Requirements

What Skills You’ll Bring:

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with US-based clients and QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
