STA Synthesis Sr Engineer/Lead/Staff

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and various other cutting-edge technologies to launch world-class products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and meet performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a high-performing team of engineers in the Display Sub-System implementation domain - Manage multiple time-critical and complex projects effectively - Communicate with stakeholders across the organization - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold best practices and ensure smooth execution - Focus on improving execution efficiency and optimizing in areas of power, performance, and size - Grow the team in terms of technical depth and size - Innovate and bring fresh ideas to the table - Develop signoff quality constraints and power intent constraints - Perform tasks such as synthesis, LEC, low power checks, memory BIST insertion, and constraints validation - Hands-on experience with tools like Synopsys DCG/Genus/Fusion Compiler and Cadence Conformal LEC - Work on RTL development or Physical Design when required Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience - OR Master's degree in the relevant field with 3+ years of experience - OR PhD in the relevant field with 2+ years of experience - 3+ years of experience with strong understanding of Physical Synthesis, Synthesis methodologies, and industry standard tools - Proficiency in writing timing constraints, STA, timing closure, and pipelining for performance optimization - Familiarity with low-power design implementation using UPF - Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, TCL - Knowledge of power optimization flows and techniques like clock gating - Ability to work independently with design, DFT, and PD teams for netlist delivery and timing constraints validation - Experience with ECOs, formal verification, and maintaining high-quality matrix Company Details: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
