Your Role

Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Microfocus Enterprise Developer and Visual COBOL.
Perform mainframe modernization and migration to Microfocus and cloud environments (e.g., Azure or AWS).
Configure and manage Microfocus Enterprise Server/Test Server on virtual machines.
Develop and optimize COBOL programs, JCL scripts, and batch processes.
Engineer integrations between legacy systems and cloud-based solutions.
Conduct impact analysis, code refactoring, and performance tuning.
Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration and deployment.

Your Profile

7+ years of experience in software development and mainframe modernization.
Strong expertise in Microfocus Enterprise Developer, Visual COBOL, and Microfocus Enterprise Server.
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and ISAM.
Experience with Azure/AWS, containerization, and cloud integration.
Solid understanding of MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS; DB2 experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Windows Server environments and Visual Studio.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
