SRA - Pilot Plant

1. Ensure strict adherence to approved Batch Production Records (BPR) during process execution.
2. Monitor and enforce compliance with Work Instructions (WIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines throughout operations.
3. Execute production activities in alignment with standard BPRs, maintaining accurate documentation and records as per IMS, Responsible Care (RC), SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
4. Plan and allocate shift workloads effectively, assigning tasks to chemists and coordinating safety work permits for maintenance activities.
5. Drive achievement of production targets, including timely delivery, optimal yields, and consistent product quality.
6. Conduct safety briefings and operational training sessions for chemists and contract workers during shift operations.
7. Review and verify shift activities documented in the BPR to ensure completeness and accuracy.
8. Ensure safety of personnel and equipment during all operational activities.
9. Confirm availability of essential utilities such as steam, cooling water, DM water, nitrogen, chilled water, brine, hot oil, cold oil, and raw water prior to process startup.
10. Oversee proper completion and verification of production logbooks and operational formats

The Person

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in chemical / BSc / Msc (chemistry).
• 5-10years in R&D within the fine chemicals industry .

Skills:

• Strong understanding of production processes with the ability to execute operations as per approved BPR, SOPs, and safety protocols
