1st round Virtual
Final round will be direct for the Tool test (Must)

Should be Specialized in ANSA, STARCCM+, OpenFOAM(preferred, Not Mandatory) CFD - Solvers, Simulation, Battery Thermal

Experience:

Job Overview:

CFD Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
steady and transient CFD simulations
for
HV battery packs
,
cooling systems
, and
external vehicle aerodynamics
.
Conduct
geometry preparation and simplification
(CAD clean-up, defeaturing) and
surface/volume meshing
using
ANSA
.
Define
boundary conditions
, select appropriate
turbulence models
, and set up
conjugate heat transfer (CHT)
or
multiphase flow
simulations when required.
Correlate simulation results with
experimental or test data
(thermal test benches, wind tunnels).
Perform
grid independence studies
, verify model accuracy, and document simulation assumptions.

Run
"what-if" analyses
,
sensitivity studies
, and support
design optimization
Automate routine tasks using
Python or shell scripts
; utilize
HPC clusters
for large runs will be an added advantage.
Collaborate with
design, thermal, aero, and systems teams
to influence early-stage engineering decisions.
Prepare and deliver
technical reports and presentations
to engineering and management teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Masters degree in
Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Thermal Engineering
, or similar.
3+ years of CFD experience in
Automotive, EV, or Battery systems
.
Proficient in
STAR-CCM+
,
OpenFOAM
(added advantage) and
ANSA

Solid understanding of
fluid dynamics
,
heat transfer
,
turbulence modelling
, and
thermal systems
.
Familiarity with
HV battery pack cooling
,
underhood airflow
, and
vehicle aerodynamic drag
.
Experience validating CFD results against
physical test data
.
Excellent communication and
presentation skills
to convey results clearly.
